I'm not sure what you call the spiky bits but that's how the coconuts look when cut down and the vendor cuts them free and will also slice off the tip and add a straw to your coconut so you can have instant refreshment!

nice pen work :) never had coconut milk fresh like that, always canned and not a fan :/
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer, try it this way if you get the chance. I don't love the 'coconut milk' we get here either - dried up, old hairy coconuts! LOL!
